Meeting S Club
Last year when S Club 7 came to New Zealand I had the lucky chance to meet Jo from S Club 7 and then later on the group also.
Well, I walked in that room and when Jo entered she looked every bit popstar with her leather jacket and peroxided hair! (And not to mention TINY) I was completely overwhelmed. Jo said 'ello! I'm liytle aren't I?! (not a spelling mistake!)' walked up to me and gave me a big smile and a warm hug. We then sat down on a double couch together and she told me about what it was like to be a pop star and what she'd been getting up to recently. She was amazingly down to earth. She talked to me like a friend and thank goodness we had no uncomfortable silences (which I had been afraid would occur!) She signed about 10 things for me which friends had begged me to get signed and after about 20 minutes it was time for me to go. We stood up and Jo asked 'can I have a hug?' it was so sweet.
She walked me to the door to say goodbye.

At the concert I found out to my delight that these seats were right at the front of the stage. I could actually touch the stage I was so close! I felt kind of bad cos there were kids who'd been waiting since 6am to get to the front of the crowd and I walked in an hour before it started and plonked my self infront of them! (Well it was a once in a life time opportunity!) S Club arrived in a boat and as they ran toward the stage I waved at Jo and she recognised me! She gave me a quick wave and mouthed 'hello!' They performed 4 songs and throughout it Jo looked at me and at one point she even blew me a kiss! It was so fantastic! After the show they left on the boat. I was thinking 'wow that's it', I felt kind of sad because it was all over.

I followed the boat by foot and when I arrived at the building they'd entered I told the lady at the door who I was and she said 'good you made it, Jo just sent a boat back looking for you!' I couldn't believe she did that for me! I entered and there were about 50 fans who'd won competitions to meet S Club. We sat at a table and when our turn came we walked up to the table the group were sitting along. Jo was first. She said to me, 'You made it, come back here'(meaning behind the table)'. She then introduced me to Rachel who was sitting beside her. I had a photo taken with each. Rachel was lovely, really friendly. Hannah was next and she signed my poster for me then Tina. They were both very sweet. Then Jon, he saw my name and said 'you met Jo the other day didn't you? I remember her mentioning you!' (oh my goodness) I then had a photo taken with Jon and moved onto the other 2 guys. Afterwards Jo came up to me and said 'would you like a photo with the group?' She got everyone together and had me standing right in the middle of the group for a photo. I was the only person there who they did this with. Everyone started taking photos ignoring that it had become S Club 8 for a second! It was so great. Before they left Jon, Rachel, Hannah and Tina gave me a hug. Jo was last and she gave me a hug like I was a friend she'd known for ages. I said to her 'thank you so much this has been the best day of my life!' she said 'thank you too, I'll see you next time!'
They left and I was buzzing for the rest of the day.

I know a family member of Jo's and Jo had managed to get 2 days off to spend with these relatives. It was arranged that one evening I could go round to their house and meet Jo personally.
